MCMDO is a key partner in the USAID Empowered Communities Activity, a project that has benefited 785 people across various regions, including Sedan Sodo, Waliso, Dawa, Lome, Batu, and Boset.
The project is focused on strengthening community engagement and health systems.
Key Activities
- Non-State Actor (NSA) Mapping: A comprehensive mapping of Non-State Actors was conducted to identify key partners and resources within the communities.
- Capacity Building: Training sessions were held for monitoring, evaluation, and learning (LME) systems and digital data management.
- Consultative Workshops: The project facilitated consultative workshops to foster collaboration and shared learning among stakeholders.
- Training of Trainers (ToT): ToT sessions were provided for Health Extension Workers (HEWs) on Village Health and Sanitation Committees.
