Dubluk woreda, Oromia: Emergency Nutrition, Health, and Food Security
Our integrated emergency response in this drought-affected area aimed to support both the host community and IDPs.
Key Activities
- Nutrition: We provided high-quality Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) services. We also linked identified cases to Targeted Supplementary Feeding Program (TSFP) centers and provided food to caregivers of children with SAM.
- Health and MHPSS: We offered Outpatient Department (OPD) consultation and treatment, as well as ANC services, TT vaccines, and counseling. We also provided essential psychoeducation and Psychological First Aid to address mental health needs.
- Livelihoods: We conducted complementary food cooking demonstration sessions and provided individual and group IYCF counseling to improve household nutrition practices.
