MCMDO Sponsorship Program Celebrates Annual Parents Day with Partner IGO
The MCMDO Sponsorship Program, in collaboration with its partner IGO, successfully celebrated the Annual Parents Day in March. The event brought together sponsored children, their parents, program staff, and community members to strengthen relationships and celebrate the progress of the children participating in the program.
Annual Parents Day is organized to strengthen communication between parents and the sponsorship program while providing updates on the wellbeing and progress of sponsored children. The event also creates a platform where parents, children, and partners can interact, share experiences, and celebrate the achievements of the program together.
A Day of Celebration and Engagement
Several meaningful and engaging activities were conducted during the celebration. Parents and children participated in discussions, presentations, and entertainment activities that highlighted the achievements of the sponsorship program and the positive changes in the lives of the children.
One of the most memorable moments of the event was the distribution of gifts to all participants, with special attention given to children with disabilities. The gifts brought great joy to the children and were warmly appreciated by parents and community members.
The event also featured cultural activities reflecting Ethiopian traditions, which created a lively and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved and strengthened the sense of community among participants.
