MCMDO is proud to announce a project that has positively impacted 59,611 beneficiaries by focusing on essential water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH) and health initiatives. The project successfully addressed critical needs in the Tselemti Woredas and Dima’s priority-selected areas.
Key achievements of this project include:
- Improved Water Access: We have repaired twenty water schemes, granting communities access to safe and clean water sources. This crucial intervention reduces the risk of waterborne diseases and improves overall community health.
- Enhanced Sanitation: Two new latrines were constructed to improve sanitation and hygiene practices, a vital step in preventing the spread of disease.
- Nutritional and Health Support: The project included nutritional screening and acute treatment for malnutrition at local health centers. We also supported food security through the distribution of agricultural seeds, empowering families to grow their own food.
