Increase the Socio-Economic Resilience Capacity of Ultra Poor Households in Addis Ababa city through Graduation Approach
The MCMDO Graduation Approach Project in Addis Ababa is a multi-year socio-economic initiative implemented in partnership with GOAL international Ethiopia and funded under the Irish Civil Society Programme (ICSP/Irish Aid).
The project specifically targets ultra-poor and extremely vulnerable urban households within the Arada Sub-City (Woredas 4 and 8) of Addis Ababa.
Core Objective
The primary goal is to transition chronically poor households out of emergency humanitarian reliance and “graduate” them into long-term economic self-reliance and climate resilience.
