Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – MCMDO was pleased to welcome the GOAL International Ethiopia Safeguarding Team to its Child Space Rehabilitation Center for a learning visit focused on strengthening collaboration and advancing child safeguarding practices.

During the visit, the team observed the center’s rehabilitation and reintegration services for street connected children and vulnerable youth, while engaging with MCMDO staff on safeguarding approaches and child protection efforts. The GOAL International Ethiopia Safeguarding Team commended MCMDO’s commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and child friendly environment where children can heal, rebuild their lives, and successfully reintegrate into their families and communities.

The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of MCMDO and GOAL International Ethiopia to promoting child protection, strengthening safeguarding standards, and ensuring that every vulnerable child has the opportunity to thrive through quality care, rehabilitation, and sustainable reintegration.
