Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) successfully convened its Head Office All Staff Meeting on 16 June 2026, bringing together employees from across the Head Office for a day of learning, reflection, and strategic dialogue focused on organizational transformation and continuous improvement.
The meeting was facilitated by Resom Sisay, who guided participants through a dynamic agenda designed to strengthen collaboration, enhance organizational understanding, and inspire a renewed commitment to MCMDO’s mission and values.
The first session was led by Yenework Minalu, Head of Monitoring and Evaluation, who presented a comprehensive overview of the organization. Staff received updates on MCMDO’s structure, ongoing projects, workforce composition, key achievements, and the institution’s current operational status, providing valuable insights into the organization’s growth and strategic direction.
This was followed by an engaging presentation from Zinash Beyene, Head of Risk and Compliance, who delivered an in depth session on risk management and compliance systems within the organization. The presentation emphasized the importance of accountability, sound governance, and the shared responsibility of all staff in upholding MCMDO’s standards and ensuring effective programme implementation.
The meeting was further enriched by remarks from Executive Director Solomon Getachew, who spoke passionately about the remarkable transformations taking place across the organization. He highlighted that MCMDO is in a pivotal period of positive change and called upon every staff member to embrace innovation, strengthen performance, and contribute actively to building a more efficient, responsive, and impactful institution.
A lively discussion followed, during which staff members shared constructive suggestions, practical ideas, and recommendations on how to further improve organizational systems and performance. The exchange reflected a strong sense of ownership and collective commitment to driving meaningful change in every area of work.
