MCMDO has been working on Integrated multi-sector assistance on Emergency Response and Development programs to give support for Drought Response, returned IDPs and conflict affected areas to address malnutrition, intervention to improve health, nutrition and livelihood conditions with special focus on women, children and persons with disabilities, from the projects implemented Mobile Health and Nutrition Project (MHNP) 2, locally based heath care for women and children pastoralist, Education in Emergency Multi-sectorial response project to support vulnerable communities, Locally based health care for Women and Children among Pastoralist population, Integrated critical lifesaving intervention to respond to under-served emergencies in Afar regions of Berhale, Kunneba, Afdera, Elidar, Ewa, Chifra , Teru, Awra, Amibara, Awash Fentale, Gewane, Erebti, Megale, Berhale and Dalol woredas
